Joe and his Former Cult Experiences
Joe was born in 1947 to Hungarian refugee parents that had fled post-World War II Europe, escaping both Nazi and Communist-Soviet totalitarianism. Growing up in the United States, his early exposure to this political brainwashing shaped his skepticism toward any movement that felt like what he experienced as a child.
